MR Marine can design a Nobeltec based system for
either Power or Sail Recreational Cruising.
From a simple notebook system with VNS Charting
Software and a InView USB 20channel GPS, to a full
Charting/Radar/Sounder inbuilt system.
Many of our customers have been using MR Marine
Nobeltec Systems for many years, and regularly update their
software, and add new hardware to keep up with the constant
advancements. The latest being Version 9 of Nobeltec Software
and AIS Tracking. |

AIS Target Tracking is one of the biggest safety
advancements for the Cruising Yachtsman. Described by some as
the poor mans Radar, AIS will track and display commercial shipping,
overlaying the vessels location on the charts. AIS uses
minimal power compared to Radar, so can be left on all the time, and
will give ARPA type data. AIS also makes available the Ships
Name, Call Sign, Destination, Speed, Heading, Cargo, etc |

Many cruising customers use the InView Navigation
System for more than just Navigation. As the
system is based on Windows XP Pro, the computer can be used for
playing DVD's, MP3's, normal Computer tasks like email, Microsoft
Office etc. My adding an additional InView TV Tuner, the
computer can also be used to watch Digital Television.
So when the Navigation is finished, the system
turns into an Entertainment System or Office style computer.
Therefore the InView System can be used for a variety of uses, and
makes better sense than a standalone Navigation System. |
